This past week, I put out an article in The Star on Alto. Recent opposition against high-speed rail has been sad. The mistake we're making isn't pursuing this infrastructure, but failing to think long term about building out a network. And for the price of Ford's Highway 401 Tunnel vision, we can! But more than write an article, I've put together a proposal for what it can look like and cost. The key here is that we should be taking a true mega-region approach to building out our transit, where key regions connect to each other, not just to Toronto.  Check out the visualization here or a longer explanation of my thinking on Instagram.
